In the rare case that one product is being used in multiple upsells AND a customer is shown two upsells with the same product during their purchasing journey, there is the chance of a duplicate conversion being reported.
To mitigate this, you have two options...
- Don't use the same product across multiple upsells or...
- Limit one upsell per customer session (Settings > Pop-up Behavior)
Unfortunately, because of the technical configuration with BigCommerce, this is something we have to work around on our end. And the reason we provided the conversion inspector.
